The Medical Outreach Committee of the DSCBA delivers accurate and up-to-date information about Down syndrome to expecting and new families. Along with current factual information, we provide information about resources and supports that we at the DSCBA offer such families. This information is provided via "Medical Outreach Folders" that are given to Bay Area hospitals and then distributed to families.

A component of Medical Outreach is educating Bay Area medical professionals about current outcomes and facts regarding Down syndrome as well as how to deliver such diagnostic news to expecting and new parents.
